We loved very good and amazing breakfasts!
Location: the hotel was close enough to airport shuttle as well as the centre of Bergen. The staff was exceptionally attentive, caring, and responded promptly to requests. The room was good little and luxurious with a very comfy bed and a shower, hairdryers and bath robes in the bathroom.

Had great location in the city center, very close to Edvard Grieg. And close enough to the taxi which was stressful, and right by the fish market.

What a really really nice stay, nothing too much trouble. Luxury and reasonably clean place, stunningly beautiful view of the Floyen mountain. A good choice of food at the marvellous and superb breakfast. Very amiable and incredibly attentive staff, good services with free wake up calls and ironing. Excellent and wonderful location near everything, elegant style building...

would like to stay here on the next trip
The hotel had a spacious Superior Double or Twin Room with a private bathroom, rain shower, and luxury bathrobe. I enjoyed the fine breakfast with fresh pastries and live piano music. The staff gave thoughtful service and even provided a fitness center for some exercise. Wi-Fi was fast, and there was a coffee machine in the room.

The live piano music during breakfast created an elegant atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail. Breakfast options were abundant and served right at the table. My room had a cozy design, though it lacked a view, a bit disappointing. The hotel's location is perfect, close to restaurants and attractions. I appreciated the comfortable bed and high-quality linens. It would be nice if there were more seating areas for relaxation. The overall ambiance was luxurious and inviting.

beautiful hotel but breakfast timing was inconvenient
The room offered a fine view of the town, with high ceilings and full-height windows. The staff provided really good service, even giving me recommendations for local attractions that enhanced my stay.
Unfortunately, breakfast timing didn't align with my early plans.

perfect base for exploring bergen's highlights and serene parks
I found the access to both the iconic Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf and the bustling Fish Market less than a 5-minute walk away, which allowed me to easily dive into the local culture and savor the waterfront sights.

The location is ideal. The breakfast options are great, with items like delicious cinnamon rolls, and the staff, particularly the head waiter, consistently display professionalism and warmth. It's unfortunate that there weren't more diverse dining options available nearby, but the limited choices were offset by the quality of meals at the hotel itself. The soundproofing of the room could also be improved, as external noise was occasionally disruptive during the night.

A cultural gem with piano melodies
The atmosphere was captivating, improved with the live piano during breakfast.
I found the toiletries inconvenient-tiny containers made for a bit of a hassle each morning.
